New Years day was absolutely glorious. It was sunny, with warm, and beautiful. The Volcano was clear and larger than Life. We took a swim in the hot springs before spending a day on the lake with friends. The Corteza Trees are in bloow. It is one of the hardest woods in Costa Rica and the only bloom for 3 days before losing all their flowers.
