Here in La Fortuna, our December has been beautiful. We have had sunny days 22 days this month and the climate is never more hotter than 80 degrees farenheight
Our area is blessed with abundant cleant rivers, streams and springs.
For New Years day, we had a picnic on the Rio Chachagua. We saw tucans, parots, butterflies and lots of little fish in the river. It is possiblñe and legal to hike any river in Costa Rica to yours hearts content. We didn´t hike though, just swam a bit in the cool water, worked on our tan and had some great chocolate chip cookies. The photo above is a sloth who was a bit shy.
